We are the UMass Dynamics!
We are a group of talented, hardworking, and motivated UMass Amherst students committed to performing fun and exciting a cappella music in the Amherst area and beyond. We are a very close group, and our number one priority is to build lifelong friendships among our members. We always say, when you're a member of the Dynamics, you're more than just a member of an acappella group, you're a part of a family!
We sing on campus, at other universities, a cappella festivals, private parties, and competitions. Since our inception, we have recorded seven studio albums and are planning more recordings in the near future. Our latest album, "the Pocket," is a compilation of innovative arrangements that attempt to push the boundaries of a cappella music. Check it out on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and more!
Audition Information
We will be having auditions for the Fall semester! Auditions will be September 3rd from 5-8, September 4th from 12-3 and 6-8, and September 5th from 10-12 in Herter Hall. Please come with a verse and a chorus of any song that you think fits your voice. Check out our social media pages to learn more about the group and audition information.
